Josie Karnitz-Trudel is a Minnesotan Illustrator, Designer, Ojibwe Native, and a Lover of Cheese.

Josie attended the Kansas City Art Institute and St Cloud State University, she has focused much of her time developing her skills for color, composition, and design. Because she has put so much time into these things, she has also developed a love and appreciation for Typography, Visual Narrative, and Vertical Compositions!

She focuses much of her personal and paid work around playfulness, nature, patterns, and fantasy.

When she’s not busy with contracts, commission work, or drawing, she enjoys cooking, baking, going on quiet nature walks, spending time with her husband, and playing video games.
